It's cold outside, probably around 10F or so.

However, when you think about how Absolute Zero is -459F (-273C for those with metric scorecards), yet many planets are close to the melting point of iron at their surface, and our own planet has such high temperatures just a few miles down into the crust, not to mention the millions of degrees that stars reach, any temperature we're at is fairly cold in comparison.

It helps a little bit. To that end, it also makes the range of temperature of water being liquid that much more unique.
