Apr. 15th, 2007 10:58 pmThere are some cons that I'll go to, and I'll just feel all "wtf, I should have stayed home". Tekkoshocon this year was not one of those cons. This year's Tekkoshocon was more about the weird crazy stuff that goes on inside the con and out. Between a spontaneous hentai-buying competition, seeing drunken legends unfold before me, watching hentai with an outrageously hysterical dub track, taking a bunch of pictures of random things and people, unconsciously trying to out-snore some roommates that just kinda showed up, Touhou games, finding old friends and meeting some new and crazy folks, yeah I think I had fun. Getting to and from the con took me entirely too long, and there were a few people I wanted to meet up with but didn't, but I had fun. There may have been some drama and strife (not directly involving me of course), my back muscles won't stop hurting, and I have to go to work tomorrow, but dammit, I had fun. That's what it's all about.
turquoise_32, I picked up a couple bottles of Cherikee Red, if you're interested.
And so, I guess after the dust settles and the casualties are counted, I will post with something of further substance.
