Apr. 21st, 2007 11:56 amHm, whatever I came down with is on the retreat. Then again calling in sick Thursday and sleeping for almost 30 hours (in multiple sessions) didn't hurt. Sometimes that's what it takes. I suspect that I still need to sleep off more of it to get my brainmeats back to full operation, but I'll take what I can get.
First decent weekend in well over a month, and I got no solid plans, which is the only thing I planned on. Saturday afternoon will see me in parts as yet unknown!
The new season of anime has started, and I'm downloading a few already, but I'm gonna wait until enough has started before I watch most of it. As usual, suggestions are welcome. What did catch my eye: Aika R-16, which carries the fanservice torch rather well. What I find most amusing about this version is that the title character is voiced by the same seiyuu as Tenma from School Rumble, and it shows. They were aiming for a hot-headed and youthful Aika and that's what was delivered, so I can't hold the seiyuu at fault for that. (Side note: In the original Agent Aika, she was voiced by the same character as Shampoo from Ranma 1/2. Go figure.)
Oh yes, I've uploaded the pictures I took at Tekko. They are in yonder image gallery! I was too lazy to weed any out, or add commentary yet, or even directly link to the specific picture album. Aw, go on. It's not that hard to click around and find them. Besides, there's other cool stuff floating around in there.
