(no subject)

Sometime the other night there was a power outage. It's actually rare around here, most likely since there's a couple substations nearby. Anyway, it woke me up because suddenly one of the UPS' started beeping like crazy and that's my cue to shut off the external drives. The UPS' main duty is to keep the externals fed in the event of any momentary dips, but I could tell this was going to last a while.

So, I took advantage of the outage.
