Apr. 28th, 2007 11:02 amI'm thinking of installing some form of Linux on my PC. Not as a complete substitute to XP, but alongside it. It'll probably also happen when I start putting in SATA drives.
The event-bubbles are rather populous. Or maybe I'm just being distracted on all sides. Or both. Either way, I should be careful in coming weeks.
Usually I don't discuss anime licenses on this since anyone that's really concerned with that gets the news elsewhere, but "Air" got licensed. That one's always been one of those "no way in hell that'll get picked up" shows. For anyone that doesn't know my stance on licensing, I've always said that it's a matter of not if, but when. I look forward to getting this on R1 DVD.
Last night's thunderstorm was quite the show. Most of my gear is hooked up through either surge protectors or battery backups, and anything that isn't is either too power-hungry (such as microwave) or is generally not plugged in anyway (various battery chargers).
Hm, forgot what else I was going to say.
