Sep. 26th, 2008 05:18 amOk, so I've started to do some car-shopping again. Nothing ferociously intent, and I've yet to march into a dealership with cash in hand, but I'm sticking with getting either another Integra or another RSX (aka 4th generation Integra). Yes, I'm picky that way. I'm also the one buying, so I'm thusly also the one calling the shots. Timeframe on this has me getting something several months from now, likely into 2009. Since I'm quite familiar with those models, I have a pretty good idea on what I'm looking at, being able to figure out what would be a minor quirk that I could fix at a gas stop and what would be an expensive deal-killer. This ability would allow me to choose from any kind of dealer or private seller. However, I am not going to buy a car at a yard sale. I shall not make that mistake a second time.
It's weird, when I originally bought Yamiko-chan, the intention was to eventually phase out and ultimately replace Ai-chan. But she kept going, never giving up. So, I kept her.
I used to want to draw. Then I decided that maybe it's for the best that I don't. What with all sorts of strange things that could come out of my head. Like say, what would Neon Genesis Evangelion or Lucky Star (or any anime for that matter) be like if all the characters had big, bushy unibrows? Would anyone be able to take that seriously? That's just a mild example. So, me not drawing could very well be the Seventh Seal. Anyone who's ever had to witness my imagination running wild may agree with that.
Looking at the calendar, AUSA is coming up fast and hard. Two weeks. I know I've been with this convention since late '00/early '01, but each year at this point I'm always like "what have I gotten into". And I'm not even running it. For those interested, I'll be packing full bottles of Tylenol/Motrin/whatever else I can think of and what may as well be a big bucket of Rolaids/Tums. We're gonna need it, gang.
Ok now to take out trash and then off to bed.
