Ah, Katsucon's coming up. Little over two weeks now, so I guess that means I have two weeks to pretend to prepare for it. Probably not gonna take the whole day off from work like I thought I was going to, more like just leaving work early on Friday and going from there, unless I forget something vital.

There's little else going on in my life, and that's something that I accept and enjoy. Sure, I have problems of my own, usually of my own making, but I don't dwell on them. I just go from one day to the next, because those problems don't get in my way. I don't let them. They may slow me down from time to time, but they don't stop me.

Slept for about three hours earlier today, but could have used more sleep. Then what am I doing still up? Aside from doing some badly needed laundry? Eh, that's pretty much it. There was something about the prospect of running out of fresh socks that was a bit of a downer.

I want so much stuff that I don't need. I want a digital camera, a brand spanking new laptop computer, a high-end SVHS vcr, DVD player, a big screen tv of my own for when I actually get my own place, put a bunch of aftermarket speed parts into Yamiko-chan to make it go even faster, and so on. I know damn well that I could live out the rest of my life without any of that, and be perfectly content. Perhaps that's why I haven't gotten any of that yet? I suppose that while all of that is well within my reach, I know of other uses for my resources that can be considered more important.

Anyway... It's about time I get to bed. Laundry's done, so I have nothing else to stay awake for. Good night!
