A few years ago, someone posted a torrent of about 80GB of denpa music. I looked through the file list and realized I had at least half of it already. There were a few I know I was missing, a lot I didn't recognize, so I got that. At least I can select which files so I'm not getting stuff I already have. It only took a bit over an hour anyway so I could have just let the whole thing ride. Being from about 4 years ago it's missing anything newer but it's still a good place to start for anyone looking to get into denpa music.

Every now and then I'll buy a CD and the case is either missing or damaged beyond use. Similarly, when I bought the giant pile of CDs at M3, some of them didn't survive the trip home. I bought a box of 25 empty CD cases, they were shipped from only one state over, wrapped in bubble wrap, and given a reasonable amount of care. There were still 3 that were broken and I'm actually surprised it was only 3. Those things break if I look at them the wrong way.

This anime season is light for me. Not empty.
"Witch Watch" This is funny and light. The show plays fast and loose with the Fourth Wall without actually breaking it. It's getting another season.
"Ninja and Assassin under one roof" Also funny but more dark comedy.
"Yandere elf chased me from another world" Big elf-girl boobs.
"Kakushite Makina-san" Big robot-girl boobs.
Next season seems to have more going on.

This summer is off to a hot start but I'm fine. My air conditioning is set to not come on until 80F, and it's closer to 86F (30C) upstairs, where I sleep. I'm actually fine with that. My body has shifted to Lizard Mode so I can handle the heat. There's not much to it: Dress lightly, stay hydrated, limit physical activity, and eat less (calories = heat). If I sweat, I don't try to stop it, I let it flow.

I get why old people like to move to warm places, and why young people prefer the cold. The elderly can't maintain their body heat like they used to due to weaker circulation and winter just makes joint pain worse. Meanwhile people in their teens and 20s have a metabolism that's as high as it's ever going to be, and they're making way more heat than they need. That's why you see high school and college kids wearing shorts in sub-freezing weather.

Progress is being made on Nozomi. Gearbox is back in (that was a fight), and new knock sensor and starter installed. Those required removal of the intake manifold. I was kind of dreading that, but it was easier than I thought. Up next is to fix some oil leaks, replace a couple lower ball joints, a handful of other side-projects, then continue putting her back together.
