psipsyOtakon is breathing down my neck like a pervert that snuck into an all-girls dormitory with less-than-honorable intentions.
Looking at furniture today, saw a sectional sofa that looked really cool. But I'm leaning towards just buying a couch. Less hassle to get in and walk around. Lot cheaper, too. Although the sectional would be extremely comfy to stretch out on.
Almost three years ago, I watched FLCL at a convention in a dimly lit video room, in a digisubbed format. No one ever heard of it, and it was presumed that it would never get licensed.
Today, I sit in my living room, and I watched it on Cartoon Network, dubbed in English. How much did I pay back then for the region 2 DVDs, one episode per disc, just because they had English subtitles, which was a novelty for region 2 DVDs? I'm impressed, yet not surprised they left the soundtrack intact for this.
Just read the Battle Royale manga, the premise makes the Columbine incident look like Romper Room. Crazy.
