Woke up yesterday feeling like 500 pounds of radioactive glue. The infamous Katsuflu strikes again, although without the ferocity that it had four years ago, where I went from feeling fine to all but dead within hours. But I took much better care of myself this weekend, and I learned that Day-quil is a very good friend. If I did get the flu, this is like driving in the rain, only slowing me down a little. Should be gone in a few days.
Katsucon was fun in a social kind of way, even though it was weak on a functional level. Still glad I went. While at Katsucon, I took only a couple pictures. This one, and this one. There are others, but I'll post those when I feel like it. Suffer with those in the meantime.
Now with Katsucon out of the way, I can pretend to prepare for Tekkoshocon coming up in a month, and a few other short-term things.
I've come to not mind sitting in Borders (or wherever I can find some good broadband) to leech from BitTorrent, for if I did it all from home, I'd probably turn into one of those weird shut-in types. Or I'd just set this laptop to run a few, and run off anyway.
Finally got Yamiko-chan some new tires. Zounds, the miles go by quickly.
Despite my "rainy-day" state of health, I'm feeling somewhat strange, in a lighthearted, child-like way. The term "mugi-mugi" comes to mind.
