psipsyAnimazement was a hoot, although I just wish that I could have been more awake for it. It was as though my body figured "several days off from work = sleep as much as possible". So, Snorlax here wound up getting 20+ hours of sleep during the convention. It's not something I haven't done before, I just wish I could have gotten away with less. Ah well. Next convention for me is Otakon, unless a screaming opportunity comes up for me to go to Anime Next. Not bloody likely. Maybe I'll poke my nose in Shore Leave again. That was actually kinda fun, but if it were anywhere else, I probably wouldn't bother going. Twenty miles from home, on the way from work. Granted, I've never really been INTO Star Trek the same way I'm INTO anime, but there is the element of something different to behold.
Nothing big going on with anime in particular, no shows that are hopping around at the front of my brain. Kono Minikuku Mo Utsukushii Sekai (there's a mouthful to pronounce) looks promising, but I'm waiting until I have the whole thing before I proceed with it. Otherwise I'm going to get as far as episode 8, end up getting left hanging, and I'll go ape from one week to the next. That's the way my brain works. Same thing going on with Madlax and a bunch of other shows. Of course, by the time they finish, I'll have even more backlog than before, thanks to that policy.
Four day weekend, already gone. Oh well. Torrents are done, so off I go!
