Sep. 14th, 2004 12:10 amAnd the truck goes, BLING BLING! Thank you,
danosan. When the Japanese pimpify their trucks, there's no such thing as too much. I figure all the chrome and lighting by itself probably adds a couple tons of weight. If I had the money, I'd probably do the same thing to a big Class 8 type, the kind with an extended sleeper cab, and a tri-axle rear. Or better yet, a cement mixer! Yeah, that would be cool.
Which is worse, fountain soda with a syrup mixture too weak or a syrup mixture too strong?
Apparently, a Starbucks is going to open up in nearby Shrewsbury. While I'm not a coffee drinker, I'm interested in this because more and more Starbucks are hooking up with TMobile on the hotspot deal. Since TMobile hotspots account for 99.999% of my general internet usage, I'm quite hopeful about this prospect, as it would mean that if I'm at home during the day, and for whatever reason I need to go download something large (on my crappy dialup, anything over 2 or 3 MB is large as it would take all day because cable isn't there yet), I would NOT have to drive for half an hour to Borders or Kinko's, I could just plunk over to the local Starbucks and rail away at their hotspot for an hour or two. Ok, if I still need to access Teh Mad Bandwidth in the wee hours of the morning, I would still have to drive to a Kinko's, but I'll take it how I can get it. No guarantees on when or if this will really happen here, but I got my fingers crossed. If I'm in the area during reasonable hours tomorrow, I shall ask.
