psipsySome minor accomplishments over the past few days:
Fixed my sink so that it doesn't leak water when I fill it up to wash dishes. Yes, I wash my dishes. By hand, too. The water would leak around the drain, but not down it. It would accumulate under the sink itself. So I had enough of that.
Fixed my wi-fi system so that it wouldn't crap out everytime I used my microwave oven. That was easier, and didn't involve aviation snips and pipe wrenches and other implements of destruction.
Watched the last episode of Kannazuki no Miko! Untranslated, but I could still follow along to a small degree. There was some dialogue, then some flashbacks, then some more giant robots, and then some strong insinuations of beanflicking. I'll watch it again when the subtitled version comes out.
Watched another fun and cheerful episode of Salad Fingers, in the same sitting as KnM. Again with the spoons! The latest one now also features background music by Aphex Twin.
It is now snowing outside, and rather than wait until tomorrow morning when I'm pushing to go to work, I located and secured a decent ice scraper. Ai-chan had it squirreled away in the depths of her trunk. I'm certain she has another one in there.
There's a batch torrent for Cromartie, but it's missing the last three episodes. I'm getting it anyway, even though it's missing some chunks, and it's going to come out on DVD soon anyway. Maybe when the group finishes it, and puts out another batch torrent, I'll be that much readier than before. Speaking of torrents, it looks like Suprnova.org went down for the count. Not a good sign. I know something will take it's place, though. See, I think I figured it out: Suprnova became something like a Wal-Mart of piracy, and got so big that it attracted a lot of attention, much of it the wrong kind. Plus the operational costs for the site alone probably got to be more than what the people running it could handle. I wouldn't want to pay money to put up with that kind of hassle either.
Two more days of work, and then I'm off for a little under 2 weeks straight. I might actually get something done in that time.
Ohayocon approaches! Perhaps some preparation on my end should be in order.
