Randomness abounds!

psipsyGuh, my website is temporarily down. This also affects any cardboard-shrine.com based emails. It's a temporary thing. Everything should be back up and running in a few days. If you must send me an email before then, use (you have ONE guess as to what handle I use)-at-clearviewcatv.net, except replacing the -at- with the @ thingy. I got everything mungled up like that because any email address posted is susceptible to spam. Just doing what little I can to stem the flow. The innernet.net account is still valid, had that since '98. Of course, cryptic messages written in blood on parchment also works. If you're squeamish about that sort of thing, then red magic marker will suffice. Those are the more interesting ones anyway.
I have washed my dishes, and mowed my lawn. I feel like I have accomplished great things. For someone that has a high likelihood of having an undiagnosed case of ADD, this is truly meaningful. Speaking of which, I went to go take a test to see if I have ADD, but I didn't stick around for the results.
Even though the Cardboard-Shrine may be down for now, GetFile is up! It's that file sharing thing that's part of AIM. Not the iChat thing, or the AIM that's embedded in Netscape, but the full version of AIM. I have it set up for Buddy List-only, for obvious reasons. If you happen across this LJ, and want to IM me, feel free but please do us both a favor, and read over my LJ info page in its ENTIRETY. This will save you and I some awkward moments that would otherwise be easily avoided. Anyway, GetFile. Only downside to that is if I'm also running Azureus, the upload speed on my end is gonna be in the toilet.
Another trip to Skyline Drive again last weekend! Again, I took a bunch of pictures. But this time was different! This time, I managed to go the whole length of Skyline Drive. It's only about a hundred miles, but when you consider that it has a speed limit of 35, and I constantly have the urge to pull off to one of the overlooks, that makes it an all-day trip. Ideally, it would be a weekend trip. Because, I got all the way to the end, and I thought about this: Ok, I'm down around Charlottesville, VA, it's almost 9PM on a Sunday night, and I have work the next day. Then I stopped thinking about it, because that would be unpleasant. At that point, all one can really do is just sit back, enjoy the ride, and cruise along. Anyway, all I have to show for it now is about a hundred pictures, some shirts, a bottle of blackberry syrup which rawks with ice cream, a significant sunburn on my left arm, and a mellowness that received a much-needed recharge.
Saturday begins. York Anime Club all day today. I guess since my laptop is coming with me, that means GetFile will happen to be down. Oops. But hey, you get what you pay for. But off I go!
