I learned a long time ago that AWA is a bit far away to be a commuter convention.

At this point, the availability of a room is the kicker. I wasn't planning on reserving a room on my own, but instead banking on someone needing an extra or two to spread the cost of a room. Besides, their main hotel is sold out anyway.
