This morning found me waking abruptly at 4:30AM, earlier than usual. You know how when it's really cold, you don't feel like waking up and getting out of bed? It was sort of the opposite for me. Somehow drifted towards just enough alertness, and the information started to stream in. Much colder than usual... Furnace doesn't sound right... aaaaaAAAAAAHHHH!! More effective than an alarm clock. Turned out the thermocouple took a crap. They only last a couple years anyway, and I had an extra one on hand (they only cost about $5), and replacing it was something I've done before. So now I'm cooking again.

I have pizza, Woodchuck, and anime. My evening is set!

Lately I have rented a local storage unit to stash some of my stuff temporarily. This includes the boxes of comic books that I have in my "sell" pile. On that note, I really should set up a page where folks can browse through and perhaps purchase some of my goods via paypal or something. My new server apparently allows for that. The biggest drawback however, is the fact that I barely know anything past extremely simple HTML. Seriously, if you've ever seen my site, you'd know what I mean. So what I'll eventually end up doing is just a plain listup and be done with it. Anyway, the main purpose of the storage thing is so I can finally organize my loot, as when I initially moved in, I just kind of emptied the truck, and much of it really hasn't moved since.

Ok, AMV idea that will likely get me lynched: ([livejournal.com profile] teknoboy, you already know about this one.) Mononoke Hime put to the song "Da Turdy Point Buck". (3.7MB) This one in particular is the Bananas at Large version, for those of you with preferences of some sort. And for as sacriligious as the idea sounds, it all makes sense. With that in mind, they need to make a "Ring" anime so that someone can make an AMV of it put to the song "Bananaphone".

It's now time for me to conclude this entry, as my brain has just hit a bitstream that decodes to something that resembles "blarg". I shall take that as a clue that I'm done.

The idea's been rolling around in my head for years now. If it ever does see completion, I'm probably going to be near the exit so that when someone in the audience decides to start a riot, I'll be able to beat a hasty retreat.

It was more of a montage of still frames and short video clips. It was going to be a Azumanga graduation video. Like the ones they show at every graduation ever of pictures from all four years students and sporting events and stuff like that. Except it would be just pictures of the Azumanga anime. I was gonna use those over used graduation songs like Green Day Time of your life for comedic effect. It sounded liek a good video at the time.

I still dont have the last two volumes of the DVDs so I never finshed it. I might still try though, but I dont think it's gonna be good.

You could try it anyway. Even if you don't think it'll turn out good, it would at least serve as a practice project.

I plan on finshing it anyway. But I needs to find to last volumes. It really pisses me off that ADV released the volumes indivudually first and then turns around and relases them all in a much cheaper boxset. They always do this crap. I should kill them.

Yeah, they pull that when I was halfway through. Fortunately I was able to find the remainders when I was at AUSA. The singles aren't that hard to find yet and they're probably marked down significantly, so you're still in luck. And the new thinpak set doesn't come with the pins and inlay cards and such.

Yes that is true. I only have two volumes left. Then I can finish that AMV and possilbe start my other Azumanga idea.

Which one, Mononoke Hime/Da Turdy Point Buck, or potential Ring anime put to Bananaphone?
