I know, I know, it's an awful choice of words for the subject line, given recent events in the area. But aside from making my trip to work slower, all the rain hasn't really caused me any problems.

The dream from a couple nights ago was odd, yet typical of my mindset. I was at some sort of convention (of course), in a rather fancy location, near fancy stores and fancy restaurants, and I curiously went into one of the restaurants. There wasn't anyone there, so I floated around (literally) until I found a door, and thought, "This is probably where I need to go." So through it I went. Alas, I did not find what I was hoping for, but instead a maze of dingy and decrepit stairwells. I tried going back through the door, but it was locked behind me. The complexity of this maze was increasing, conditions were deteriorating, and any doors I found were locked! Plus, The Chaser had followed me into this maze, with its usual intentions of hunting me down. The situation was becoming perilous! How would I escape? I knew exactly what I needed to do. I stood and waited for the alarm clock to go off. Yeah, that always works. And it's not like The Chaser was going to catch up to me in time. Sure enough, there went the alarm clock. My automatic and subsequent movement to turn it off caused an immediate and total collapse of the dreamscape, and I was freed back into the waking world once again.

You wanna know what's awesome? This website, that's what. You should go there. It's full of odd and obscure music and I've been stripmining it for the past couple days. It would also explain the Current Music, by the Richard Dawson. That's right. My new icon celebrates this!

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni #13 finished up with an interesting twist ending for the third arc. Way to go, Keiichi. Of those of you out there that read this and watch anime, you need to see this show. When (not if, but when) this gets licensed and put out on DVD, I'm buying it.

Hooray for four-day weekends. Something good shall happen, yes!

Begin.

Just wondering:

1) Did AnimeDude's package arrive in good condition? Should I use different packaging on the next batch?
2) How much do I owe you for postage from your place to Sam's?

The package arrived in good condition. And since I'm adding in a couple things as well for this one, don't worry about the secondary postage which is all domestic from here.

Just don't add in any yaoi - I've learned that he doesn't appreciate it as much as he should.

The package continues to remain yaoi-free. It's not like I have any of it hanging around, for that matter.

That dream...

Man, you really need to cut down on the red meat!

The weird thing is, I haven't had much red meat prior to that dream.
