Nothing new; absolutely nothing.

psipsyFalling asleep near the laptop while it's playing through Pig's entire discography makes for interesting dream sequences that I wish I could remember. One of which that comes to mind is one about a microchip, that I was holding in my hand, and said to it, "You know what you must do." So it flew away, found its target, landed near an empty socket, then immediately rewired the nearby circuitry (as well as itself) so it would fit, plugged itself in, and took over. Well, I thought that was pretty cool. I mean, can you imagine having a whole army of those things under your control?
Hm, can't find my little flash drive. The sad part is, I remember putting it somewhere, thinking "I better put it in a better location because I'll forget that I put it here" but true to my words, I promptly forgot. So, if I could remember where I put it, I'd have it by now, but it's a place I know I'd forget. Which covers a lot. Yet, it'll turn up somewhere. Also in the land of computer stuff, I am thinking of upgrading the hard drive in my laptop, to either a 100 or 120. Or I could save money and unload some mp3s that I should quit fooling myself and face the fact that I'm not going to listen to many of them. My iTunes library counts almost 7400 songs. A couple thousand of those are based on external drives, but that still leaves a lot. Not to mention there's more than a few that were encoded as AIFFs which I never bothered to re-encode. Doing that should free up some space.
Stuff coming up the next couple days, making it a busy weekend for me. They'll probably ask me to show up at work on Saturday and I probably won't cuz I'm gonna be that busy. Or I'll sneak in for a few hours. Overtime is yummy; and I'm starting to get back into that cycle. Begin the craziness! Oh wait, it's already started? In the meantime, I'm off to bed.
